Kwame Dawes’s most recent poetry book is Nebraska. His awards include an Emmy, the Forward Poetry Prize, a Guggenheim Fellowship, and the Windham Campbell Prize for Poetry. The Glenna Luschei Editor of Prairie Schooner, he was also recently named editor of American Life in Poetry.
