Brandon Rushtonâ€™s poems have appeared in Pleiades, Denver Quarterly, and Forklift. In 2016 he won poetry prizes from both Gulf Coast and Ninth Letter. Born and raised in Michigan, he is a cofounding editor of the nonprofit poetry outfit Oxidant | Engine. He teaches writing at the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina.
