Inés Fernández Moreno was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has worked as creative director of an advertising agency and written extensively for newspapers and magazines, is the author of a number of novels and stories, and won the 2003 Premio Internacional de Cuentos Max Aub, an international story prize. She lives in the small Buenos Aires neighborhood of Parque Chas.
