Joel Kelly earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida and works as a high school physics teacher in New Orleans. In art, he is an autodidact, taking his education and inspiration from the museums of Europe and in the winter grays and shades of wet city streets. His paintings and drawings are exhibited in cities across the country, including Austin, Providence, and San Francisco.
