Johary Ravaloson was born in Antananarivo, Madagascar, and lives in Normandy, France. His first novel to appear in English, Return to the Enchanted Island, is forthcoming this November from Amazon Crossing. The original French manuscript won the Prix du roman de l’Océan Indien. His most recent novel in French is Amour, Patrie et Soupe de crabes.
