Kirk Curnutt is professor and chair of English at Troy University’s Mont­gomery Campus in Alabama, where he also serves as a director of the Alabama Book Festival. His thirteen books include two novels as well as studies of Gertrude Stein, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and Ernest Hemingway. His latest book, Brian Wilson, is part of Equinox Publishing’s Icons of Pop Music series.
