Kristina Gorcheva-Newberry, a Russian-Armenian
émigré, holds an MFA in creative writing from Hollins University. Her work has
appeared in Gulf Coast, Prairie Schooner, and TriQuarterly. She has won the Katherine
Anne Porter Prize for Fiction and has received a Tennessee Williams scholarship
from the Sewanee Writers’ Conference. Her debut novel is forthcoming from
Ballantine Books in 2021.
