Marzena Broda was born in Kraków,
Poland, and currently lives in a village in southern Poland overlooking the
Beskid Mountains. The most recent of her four poetry collections is Zwykłe
rzeczy (Ordinary things). She is also the author of two novels and the play
Skaza (Flaw).
