Michael Caleb Tasker was born in Montreal, Canada, and spent his childhood in Montreal and New Orleans, Louisiana. He has a BA in Music Composition and American Literature and an MA in Creative Writing. Winner of the Ernest Hemingway Flash Fiction Prize, he has published in Ploughshares and Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine. He lives in Newcastle, Australia, with his family.
