Mika Seifert is a writer and concert violinist from Cologne, Germany. He began playing the violin at the age of five and went on to study at the Juilliard School, the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, and the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. As a soloist, he has performed at the Cologne Philharmonic, the Essen Philhar­monic, and the Tonhalle Düsseldorf, among other venues. His first story was recently published in The Antioch Review.
