Milton J. Bates has published several
nonfiction books, most recently The Bark River Chronicles: Stories from a
Wisconsin Watershed. His poems have appeared in anthologies and magazines,
such as Bellevue Literary Review, Dunes Review, and Great
Lakes Review. He lives in Marquette, Michigan.
