Contributors: Osama Alomar
Osama Alomar was born in Damascus,
Syria, and is now living in Chicago. He is the author of three collections of
stories and a volume of poetry in Arabic. His first poetry collection in
English, Fullblood Arabian, recently appeared in a Norwegian translation. A musician
as well as a writer, he is a regular contributor to various Arabic newspapers
and journals. His story collection, tentatively titled The Teeth of the Comb,
will be published by New Directions in 2017.
