Contributors: Saral Waldorf

Saral Waldorf is a medical anthropologist who has lived and worked in Uganda, Lesotho, Cameroon, Malawi, Benin, Thailand, Turkmenistan, and Malta. She has published fiction in Commentary, The Hudson Review, and Anthropology and Humanism. This is her third appearance in The Southern Review; her second, “God’s Plans for Dr. Gaynor and Hastings Chiume,” was selected for The Best American Mystery Stories 2016.
