Contributors: Walter Burgess and Marietta Morry

Walter Burgess and Marietta Morry are both Canadian and specialize in Hungarian fiction. In addition to the stories in We’re Going Home, they have translated stories by Gábor T. Szántó and his novel Europa Symphony, as well as the novel It Is Not Proper to Garden on Good Friday by Zsófia Czakó. With Lynda Muir, Marietta Morry has translated Anna Molnár Hegedűs’s 2014 memoir, As the Lilacs Bloomed, which won the 2015 John Glassco Translation Prize of the Literary Translators’ Association of Canada.
