Wendy Barker’s seventh book of poems is Gloss. Her collection One Blackbird at a Time won the John Ciardi Prize. Her poetry has appeared widely, including in The Best American Poetry 2013. A recipient of National Endowment for the Arts and Rockefeller fellowships, she teaches at the University of Texas at San Antonio.
